Trace at the end of the day
Feet swell across the day — more so in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore humidity. Measure in the late afternoon, standing, with the socks or hosiery you'd normally wear.

Between two sizes? Size up on closed-toe flats and pumps, stay true on mules and open-back styles. Microfiber leather softens gently with wear but holds its line.

N°02
Place a sheet of A4 on a hard floor with one short edge against the wall. Stand with your heel touching the wall, weight evenly distributed, and mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe.
N°03
Measure from the wall edge to your mark. Do both feet and use the larger number — most feet differ slightly. Match that measurement to the chart below to find your EU size.

Malaysian shoe shops quote sizes in three systems at once, which is why the same foot is a 6 in one shop and a 37 in the next. Here is what each term means.
Shoe size
The general term. Unless a shop says otherwise, a number between 35 and 41 is EU sizing and a number between 2 and 8 is UK sizing.
UK shoe size

European size
How SHAN is made and labelled. We run EU 35 to EU 40, in half-step increments of roughly 0.7cm of foot length.
Foot length in centimetres
The only measurement that never lies. Measure heel to longest toe and match it to the chart above — this is the safest way to order online.

Print at home
Print this page at 100% scale (not "fit to page"), then check the 10cm bar below against a real ruler before you measure. If it matches, mark your heel-to-toe length on the scale.
